n 1992 just out of high school, Amanda Bossard started her education in marine biology at Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage,AK. Bossard's career began in 1999 with a job aboard the vessel F/V Sunset. It is a 65-foot halibut boat was turned to a salmon tender by Murat Ariatn, who has been commercial fishing for more than twenty years. Bossard is now married to Aritan and they've united to make their rights to the industry. Both of them are favour of conserving resources as well as maximizing profits. Otolith was created at the time of Philadelphia in the year 2000 by Bella Bossard and is currently the mother of two children who are aged three and one Bossard. In 2007, Bossard, mother to two kids Bella aged 3 and Andre 1. She returned to Philadelphia after a trip from Canada, opened Otolith as a wholesale direct market seafood distributor. Bossard along with their son Andre and Isabella, her daughter Isabella will return home to Southeast Alaska every summer as deckhands in the harvest of wild salmon. After two months of fishing using hooks along with lines and a 42-foot salmon troller they have joined Aritan and then sold local processors of seafood.
